a young woman

looks in the mirror

and doesn't understand

how she got here

In the background

is a baby crying

and as the young mom

stares at herself

trying to figure out

what her next move is

she too, starts crying

'I miss her'

she thinks out loud

'she would be here

helping me,

instead i'm alone'

she leaves the mirror

and goes to her newborn

and whispers in her ear

"my mom is not here,

but your mom is"
